Welcome To Mosman Musical Society
Mosman Musical Society attracts performers and audiences from all over Sydney, and beyond! Established in 1903 we are Australia’s longest known continuously running musical society, and can boast a rich and colourful history. We put on two or three performances each year. Lately our seasons have combined full stage musicals (Annie, Xanadu, and Urinetown), cabaret evenings of various genres (jazz, Broadway Reversed and 80s music!) and concerts with our friends at Mosman Music Club.
We’re a sociable and welcoming crowd of adults of all ages, with children also involved in some productions.
Please follow us on Facebook, where you’ll find lots of photos, news and info about our future productions, including audition notices.

Our 2019 Season
We are kicking off 2019 with “Comedy Tonight”, a concert of musical comedy, in collaboration with our friends at Mosman Music Club. It’s on Sunday 10 March at Blessed Sacrament School Hall in Mosman. Two performances only! A matinee (2pm) and an evening show (4.30pm) with supper afterwards. Tickets on sale at the door (cash only) or online.
Next up is an original musical, “A Night On Broadway”, updated since first performed by the society in 2007. A revue style show with a comedy script, A Night on Broadway will dazzle you with a selection of show stoppers from a myriad of Broadway classics including Cabaret, 42nd Street, Chicago, My Fair Lady, Hair and Boy from Oz. The show opens at The Independent Theatre, North Sydney on 4 July and runs until 6 July 2019. Info on auditions coming very soon, and watch this space for tickets!
Thanks to everyone who came to see our 80s cabaret Simply the Best in October and November 2018, and to Latham Cusack Property – Lower North Shore for sponsoring both our 2018 cabarets.
